Presentation:

• The acoustician's mission is to define, implement and operate vibro-acoustic analyses on steering columns in order to meet our customers' quality requirements.

 Context:

• The acoustician works with the quality engineers to analyze acoustic defects in steering columns or steering column components. To do this, he/she defines vibro-acoustic experimental plans, implements them in the acoustic laboratory or on production line test modules, then analyzes the results.

• He/she disseminates his/her conclusions and suggests improvements where necessary. The acoustician is also the guarantor of the quality of the measurements made by the acoustic measurement modules on the production lines. As such, he or she may work on industrialization or production project teams, or with quality specialists.
